Energy Coaches
Get expert advice before you start planning your retrofit. Our Energy Coaches offer one-on-one support, small group workshops, and guidance tailored to your home and goals. Contact us to book a session.
Our Energy Coaches are trained Registered Energy Advisors and Certified Energy Managers with deep experience in home energy retrofits. They’re here to help you make confident, informed decisions after your EnerGuide assessment is complete.
Home Retrofit Planner
Planning a retrofit can be complex. Our Home Retrofit Planner service provides expert guidance at every stage—from your home energy assessment to choosing the right upgrades, managing contractors, and getting the work done right.
The service costs approximately $1,000–$1,500 per home for participants in the Better Homes Loan Program (fees may vary depending on the size of your home and project). Low-income applicants may be eligible to receive this service at no cost—just ask the intake assistant when applying for the loan.

Free Low-Income Services
If you are a low-income participant in the Better Homes Loan Program, you may be eligible to receive Home Retrofit Planner services 100% free of charge. Ask the intake assistant when you apply.
